Joe is a great friend and very understanding of the fact that we need married couple time occasionally. As far as the whole private property angle is concerned, there is little that I own that I can't stand to have someone else touch/move. I am an admitted packrat and keep several of what I call "nostalgia boxes", which are basically collections of objects from my childhood and teen years that I haven't organized and haven't grown up enough to throw away. I'm horribly nostalgic with regard to objects... our storage closet is all the proof one would need of that. We were looking to save some money on rent, so it worked out. He's not a stranger or anything, he's an ooooold grade school buddy/best friend of my husband.
