Fall and Roasting
I’ve been really tempted to roast vegetables lately. Anything I’ve ever had that was roasted has been super yummy! And what’s not to like about getting more vegetables, right? Check this recipe out: roasted cauliflower. I must try it! What else should I roast? Definitely carrots, and potatoes, and I’ve heard that brussel sprouts are actually really amazing when roasted. Asparagus might be good… broccoli of course… what else? Any favorite recipes to share?
Fall weather is my favorite, and it seems like the perfect season for roasting things. The chill that’s not quite biting, crunchy leaves, anything pumpkin flavored, apples, nuts, the bright clear skies, Fall is the king of the seasons.
You know, there are many reasons I want a yard someday, but high among them is raking leaves. It’s fun! I would love to have a gigantic and gnarly old oak tree in my future yard. I’d stand outside and watch the leaves dance in the wind as I drink my pumpkin spice cappuccino… perfect. Then I’d get down and do some hardcore raking! Yeah!

amma try that roasted cauliflower. hihihi
I am all about the roasted yams. I cut them into chunks and layer on olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic, minced.
Oohhhh, that sounds terrific!
