The Tomboy Fashion Dance
A girl stand in front of her closet, looking at her collection of amusing t-shirt. She frowns. Today, a t-shirt just won’t do! It’s Thanksgiving, and instead of spending it at a family member’s house where her usual attire would pass, she’s been invited to a moderately fancy restaurant.
“Maybe the one with the stripes?” she thinks. She pulls the slightly silky material over her head and wanders into the bathroom to look in the mirror. She quickly realizes that the last time she wore this shirt she was probably 20 pounds lighter. She pulls the striped item off as she heads back to the closet.
After thinking on it for a few more moment, she finally grabs the one item she thinks might both fit and be reasonably suitable for the occasion, when compared to the t-shirts anyway. It’s a navy blue sweater from the 1970′s that she permanently borrowed from her Father several years ago. It crackles with static as she slides her head through the neck hole. Her reflection confirms that this sweater is the best bet for the day, but she silently vows that next year she’ll either fit into something hanging in the back of her closet or invest in a piece that doesn’t involve 100% pre-shrunk cotton decorated by catchy logos.

I think I might actually envy you this fashion dance today. I’ve spent the day so far in my pajamas, heh.

I love pajamas! I’d much rather have spent my day in those.
