I quit!

I do, I quit.

It’s time to end the guilt and inaction thing. I’ve been making strides, even if they seem a little off target, but I do feel less stagnant and that’s a good thing.

Anyway, what have I been up to? I experimented with roasted brussel sprouts a couple of days ago! (That was my New Year’s Resolution!) I also went to see the frozen waterfall yesterday! And I started knitting something (relatively) successfully for the first time recently!

Alright, so none of that is super exciting, but fighting the post-Christmas/winter blues is always a little rough for me. It’s nice to be able to see  the end of winter off in the distance! It’s even been in the 30′s for a few days now… (though there is more snow due on Saturday, I think. Boo!) Better days are coming!

Well you’re doing better then me! I have very slowly started cleaning up, and, though I needed a restart, am doing the 365 photo challenge. I totally feel you about the after christmas blues. Winter not so much, but then where I live winter isn’t bad and rarely do we ever see snow lol.
I love the colors you’re using for your knitting! I tried knitting and found I don’t have the patience lol. Going to try crochet when I have a moment to learn. And that frozen water fall looks amazing!! I wish there was something like that near here. Great photo op! I wish you luck keeping up your fight against the winter blues :) It’s almost over now!

I didn’t realize you knit. When I am buying yarn I often think of our old yarn buying adventures to dress the trolls. Anyways, I have just committed to a knitting project and was trying to find someone else who might be interested. It is a mystery knit that starts in March and you get clues and directions emailed to you every week or so. It is going to be a shawl but they don’t show you the picture (hence the mystery). I am not an very experienced knitter but from what I understand, there are tutorial videos to help along the way and she makes it very easy to learn new techniques. If you are interested, it is at http://www.ravelry.com/groups/browse/show/she-knits-mystery-kal-3—robin

Interesting! I don’t think I’m quite up to a project like that, but maybe if I keep practicing someday I’ll be able to look at a pattern without my eyes crossing, heh! I haven’t even learned how to increase or decrease yet! :P If you decide to do it you’ll have to let me know how it goes!!
