I was doing a bit of cleaning this morning and ran across an old CD with this photo of my grandma on it. When I was in college I took a photoshop class and we had to do a restoration of an old picture. I chose the one above. Would you believe it used to have water spots and creases through it?
Anyway, it was a lot of fun restoring the photo. She was so beautiful when she was young! I wish I had been able to get to know her better. I think I would appreciate her a lot more now, as an adult. If I could go back to when she was 50yrs old or so, and have dinner with her, I bet I’d learn a lot about her life. I know it wasn’t an easy one.
She’s beautiful. You look a lot like her.

My goodness, Brianne… She is stunning!! Water marks and creases?? I would never have guessed it, looking at this photograph now… You do some amazing work!! =) And I agree with the above statement; you really do bare a striking resemblance, yourself.

Huh, I’ve always thought I looked much more like my other grandma since I definitely have her bumpy German nose.
I loved restoring old photos in my photoshop class. There was nothing like fixing up a photo and handing it to family members to have. That is a gorgeous photo and your grandmother was very beautiful.
You look a lot like your Grandma
I love this!! I did something very similar for my grandmother. A photo of her as a little girl from 1939/1940. It’s a lot of fun and it’s great to be able to keep those old photos for years to come.
