About The Site

I’ve been a computer lover since the early 80’s. (The photo to the left is me playing on a Vic 20 at around age 3.) With a little help and inspiration from my Dad, I started my first web page at Geocities way back in 1996, and my life hasn’t been the same since.

I acquired MsPitt.com in October 2009 after using SugarFang.com for about a year. I switched because MsPitt.com will be a domain I can use far into the future. I feel it’s far more versatile and will grow with me over time. I also own BriannePitt.com, but have chosen not to use it for blogging. I purchase my hosting through Surnaturelle.net. The service is good and the price really can’t be beat for a small personal site.

I run my blog on Wordpress, and am currently using an edited version of the Tickled Pink theme. The background damask is an edited version of this wallpaper, and the title uses this font.

The Photography: The majority of my photographs are taken with my Canon T1i and the kit 18-55mm f/3.5 lens. I edit everything in Photoshop because I can’t help myself. Photo editing is probably one of my favorite hobbies. I may even like it more than actually shooting the pictures. Sad, no? Anyway, I’d love to upgrade the lens, but I need to replace my computer first as it is rapidly growing old and outdated.
